Can I use Sleepy Head Balm on my newborn baby?
- Sleepy Head Balm is only suitable for ages 6 months and older due to the essential oil content in the product. It is not recommended to have any essential oil use on babies under this age.
Is Sleepy Head Balm safe for sensitive skin?
- As skin conditions such as eczema vary greatly, we cannot guarantee it will suit your child's skin specifically, but we have received wonderful feedback from many customers who love it as a gentler option.
Is Sleepy Head Balm safe for use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
- Yes, our Sleepy Head Balm is perfectly safe for use by pregnant and breastfeeding Mothers. However, we caution against use around the chest/nipple/breast area where a baby is latching due to the risk of ingesting the essential oils in the balm.
Does Sleepy Head Balm contain nuts?
- Our Sleepy Head Balm contains a homeopathic remedy of chestnut. We strongly advise not to use the product on anyone with a severe allergy to nuts.
Is there alcohol in Sleepy Head Balm?
- Sleepy Head Balm is an organic and natural product. We use lanolin alcohol to extend the shelf life and preserve the product.
What if it doesn’t help my child sleep?
- Sleepy Head Balm is a gentle balm designed to encourage relaxation. We unfortunately don’t make any guarantees. It’s impossible to do so as there are so many different reasons why sleep issues affect children and it’s impossible to create a product that works for all children. For serious sleep issues, we suggest you consult with your healthcare practitioner or GP.

- Magic Sprinkles are recommended for children over 18 months.
How do I use Magic Sprinkles?
- Magic Sprinkles can be added to any food, at any time! Or eaten straight off the spoon. Kids (and adults) love the taste!
Can Magic Sprinkles be used on hot foods?
- Magic Sprinkles can be eaten raw or used on hot foods and still have plenty of nutrition. The only food that will lose nutrition when cooked is the Vitamin C food in the product.
Are Magic Sprinkles gluten and dairy-free?
- We don’t have ingredients that contain gluten or dairy within our Magic Sprinkles but we cannot guarantee that they are gluten or dairy-free as they are manufactured in a facility that handles both of those ingredients. If you have allergies in your family, we would recommend against this product as we cannot guarantee that there has not been a minor cross-contamination in our manufacturing facility.
What flavour are the Magic Sprinkles?
- Our Magic Sprinkles don’t have a ‘flavour’ as such and we don’t use any refined sugar or flavourings. Just organic, real whole foods. We would describe the taste as sweet and nutty - but they don’t contain nuts.
Are Magic Sprinkles made from Australian ingredients?
- Magic Sprinkles are made in Australia from at least 90% Australian ingredients. Some of the ingredients are not local to Australia - for example, our Camu Camu comes from an organic farm in Brazil but we still add it into our Magic Sprinkles because of the incredibly high Vitamin C levels.
- We source from Australia where possible, unless we feel an imported ingredient is important to add for the nutritional benefit. We don’t provide country of origin breakdowns, but we do have an extremely high percentage of Australian ingredients in all our Magic Sprinkles.
What is the texture of Magic Sprinkles?
- The texture is more of a powder, as it is made from seeds and superfoods that are ground down. The sprinkle is in the way you use it ✨
Do Magic Sprinkles contain food allergens?
- Magic Sprinkles may contain traces of wheat, egg, nuts and soy as our facility handles these ingredients for other products.
Do Magic Sprinkles contain any nasties?
- We don’t add refined sugar, artificial sweeteners, preservatives or additives to Magic Sprinkles. Only ingredients found in nature.
